folder with this year and last year's POkeddex challenge
that nostalgia feel of finally catching one of these gals in the safari in the original games, as it was a nightmare finding and getting one in the safari zone back in the day I love the design and their prevelance in the pokemon centers in the anime and all that, they were just so charming and always seemed happy and sweet appearances decieve with this pokemon, as it's a pretty nasty and super wally pokemon, especially with eviolite. double that huge sp def and make that def bulky too, now you can wall a ton of stuff. not gonna status me I got natural cure + aromatherapy to put an end to that. what's that? my attack is terrible? no matter I can seismic toss you over and over or toxic you. uh oh I'm low on health you might just get me NAH JK I'll softboil back all that hp you worked hard to whitttle down. yes chansey is setup bait and yes pokemon like aegislash can completely wall chansey's only way of hurting enemies, but overall chansey checks a vast majority of things and is easy to use + great support for team with aromatherapy. It's a shame wish on chansey is only available when giving out at special events. Chansey only has two really good stats and the rest are terrible, seriously, an attack of 5...yes, that is 5, base, def of 5 base (seriously, sunkern, pokemon notorious for having worst BST of all time, has 30 base in everything, base 5 is extremely bad) , sp atk of 35 base, and speed of 50 base, base 105 sp def is nice, but there's certainly better sp def. on paper these stats look horrendous and would spell the doom of virtually anything else, but the saving grace is that 250 base hp, monumental, and makes that def actually useable with eviolite and investment. chansey has just the right movepool to be effective at its walling job and it's infamous for it. I just find it super awesome how it has 4 outright deplorable stats yet does so well, and how 5 base def and bulky can be used describing the same pokemon.
